Lanvin

Shoes: Lanvin at Barney's New York

My new fabulous purchase, Lanvin ballerina flats in brown leather and black patent. Hello beautiful shoe. We will be wearing you all summer, fall, and winter long. I am notorious in thrashing shoes to the bare minimal but, when you love something so much it is well worth the price. I got these shoes for 75% off the original price, now that's a steal.

Dulcinee N.Y.C.

Photography: Rinze Van Brug
Styling: Anett Gabriel
I discovered this awesome store in the new Nylon mag. Dulcinee NYC is a high end vintage store store that carries the most amazing pieces by some of the most coveted designers. The boutique is owned by Mauren Leon and is located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The appeal is very early 1900's these looks are so delicious and lovely. I love the flirty girl inspired looks and pieces. Being a photographer I was in love with the editorial of the stores website and had to check out Rinze and Anett. These are some of the most talented people and between all three of them have amazing since of taste and style.

Today's Outfit

Dress: Diane Von Furstenburg
Shoes: Jeffdrey Campbell
Tuxedo Jacket: Vintage
Belt: Dries Van Noten

I was inspired by a look that people found hard to pull off at my work. Countless women would try this dress on and to no avail would put it back. So, I decided that I would have to purchase this ensemble and try to make it work. I thought why not pair it with this Dries Van Noten belt and my fringe glads. I was so impressed by how amazing this dress worked out that I bought it and decided to wear it to work. I actually sold this whole look to another girl who thought of buying it before but thought that it was just to much fabric. Well over the past couple of days since I bought it it has sold out. I can't take 100% of the credit but, it sure felt good to see someone be inspired by a little ole challenge of mine.

Feather Inspiration

Photo Cred: Here
I am so inspired by this new trend. Here's definetly a project for a diy. This will be fun to create with friends and some wine. We can all come up with our lovely creations and maybe trade with each other. Though I do have big hair it might be a problem, but nothing a flat iron couldn't fix for a change of things.

Relaxed Wear

Derek Henderson: Photographer
Image: Foto Decadent

Oh how much I love this outfit. It's just relaxed and cozy. My sister asked me what is my obsession with socks and I thought to myself, I am obsessed. I just love the innocence of this look. Sometimes, you need to have a little naivete in your look, to hide the sometimes devil in you.

What I'm Wearing

Dress: Vintage Neiman Marcus
Belt: Nicholas K
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell

Sometimes you just luck out on something remarkable at a thrift store. When I first saw this dress it was long and kind of old fashion. So, the only solution was to mini the sucker. I loved that it has such incredible rose detail and that the fabric is silk. I adore silk and it has to be one of my favorite fabrics along with cashmere. But, who doesn't like quality fabric?

Yaz Concert

Yaz. Yes, they were awesome and we had a good time. Alison has the most amazing voice ever. It was truly awesome to see them and it sure took me back to memory lane. The 80's, if you were a kid then, you'll understand.

My friend rainbow in her loveliness

Jacket: Mint
Tuxedo Shorts: Rachel Roy

Top Shop Fall Preview

Here are my favorite pix from Top Shops fall 08 preview. I just love the Miu Miu inspired dresses. Not only have I been looking for the long awaited band jacket, this one seems to be very inpirational to my closet. The pleated crop pants are absolutely delicious and a must have staple for this fall.

Karen Zambos

Here are a couple of fall looks from Karen Zambos. Love the whole vintage vibe. These looks are timeless and ageless. I love the ruffled blouse with the straight leg trousers. I need and it's a must have for this fall.

Good Ole China Town

It was a fun day in L.A. hanging with friends on a beautiful Sunday. That's the best time to be in L.A. when there is no traffic. I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful 4th of July.
