Inspiration Balmain

Loved this look since the first time I laid eyes on it.

Look at this fabulous military style jacket and the jeans are to die for, if you can afford 2 grand a pair.

Here's my find it yourself. I still am looking for the perfect acid wash jeans. These jeans I bought from the men's side at Barneys and decided to go big and make them into slouchy skinny style boyfriend jean. My alterations gal did amazing job in getting the jeans a bit more skinnier. The jacket was found at the Rose Bowl Flea Market. I thought I was dreaming. It cost only 10.00 dollars ( oh and the jeans were 8.00 dollars plus alterations).

My sister and I went shopping at the Grove in L.A. and stumbled upon these Jeffrey Campbell look a-likes. I yelled Balmain, I have to have those. Viola the look complete.

Leader Of The Band

Jacket: Karen Kane Vintage, Top: Silk Vintage, Pants: Zara, Shoe: Barneys New York, Necklace: Aphrodite

I loved the military style jackets and wanted to find a vintage one so bad, back in 2007 I was hoping to find one that was vintage and I did. I was so ecstatic that my heart was palpitating so hard I almost fainted. I haven't found another yet, but I surely hope so. I love the deals at Zara and I found so many slouchy pants for so cheap I bought like 6 pairs. It's unbelievable how half of this outfit is vintage.

In The Closet

Dress: Meghan, Shoes: Fornarina, Fur Vest: Vintage, Necklace: Vintage, Belt: Nicholas K
I went out the other night for a friends birthday at a sushi resturaunt and thought why not bring out something from the closet. As a recessionista you have to play with the things that you already have. So I decided on this kimono style dress by Meghan.
